The sushi has good news and is perfect. It is soft and delicious, and all the tea and miso soup are delicious. It's a pity that the shopkeeper's customer service is dim and it's hard to talk to them.

The best sushi I ever had. Small place, great service. You can watch the sushi chef on the other side of the bar as he's preparing your food. Awesome restaurant!

Easy-to-use orthodox school Edo-style sushiThis is a sushi restaurant in the back alley of Tameike Sanno.Inside the store is an L-shaped counter digging. Excellent sushi, and a great lunch deal for 4000 yen. Probably among the best cost performance in Tokyo, and certainly better than anything I've had at Tsukiji.

the sushi is marvelous, I need to come back.

My Japanese coworker brought me here and I came back on my own with friends. The chef seems stern at first but he has a kind demeanor, and the bar seats are top notch. Incredible sushi - fresh fish and flavorful rice. Great deal at 9,000 yen for basic okakase that left us stuffed.

Nothing special. Maybe people come here for lunch because of its location. Waitress was kind but the owner was rude and arrogant he seemed to dislike foreigners from certain countries. Ordered the priciest omakase they had and enough 日本酒 but the way he treated us was awful. Have been to many of the best sushiyas in Japan, the masters were always friendly and modest but this one was impressive in a not good way.

Although sushi tasty, but other guests will affect the appetite.

Authentic a sushi bar, room for 10 sitting on the floor. Shoes off. Chef preparing all in front of you. Unique experience if you have never done it. Not the cheapest meal 10,000 yen's for sushi meal without drinks.

16 + 4 course meal that is very filling for 9000. Chef was nice and informed us about each one he served.

It was recommended by Japanese colleagues and this restaurant did not disappoint. Really enjoyed the evening sushi set - definitely one of the best sushi places I've been to in Tokyo. Make sure you reserve before going, it fills up fast.

Terrific sushi. Also enjoyed the chef's set for the evening. Lovely, intimate setting. Memorable evening. Stern sushi chef's demeanor but he was so very inventive and gracious!

For 10,000 I would say this is pretty good value for money sushi omakase. 16 courses and most of them are delicious. Only fish I didn't like that day was the gizzard shard which was a little fishy. Overall it was a good meal and will return if I go back to Japan!
